The city’s iconic symbol is the Taourirt Kasbah, which belonged to Pacha El Glaoui and was built around the mid-18th century. It is featured on the new 50-dirham banknotes and is adjacent to the medina. Ait Ben Haddou is a commune located in the Ouarzazate province of Morocco.

• Route: Journey through the High Atlas Mountains, passing the famous Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah. Visit the village with photo stops at the Ksar. Arrive in Talouet for lunch and visit the magnificent Kasbah of Pacha Glaoui, the highest Kasbah in the Atlas Mountains.
